EMAIL TOOLS
DESCRIPTION:
A fantastic email client. It's quick, runs smoothly and there is nothing really much more to say. Receiving emails should ideally be fast and hassle free, thunderbird helps to accomplish this. I have had no problems whatsoever, I also like the way it displays the addressbook (One users opinion)
DESCRIPTION:
A program that has many different smiley animations. I use this when I email friends
DESCRIPTION:
This software is used to look at email you receive. Instead of opening it up in your email program, it opens in a new window showing plain text only. Very good for security
DESCRIPTION:
An email notififier that checks your POP accounts for new email, and alerts you when it arrives. Features include notifying you by a popup message, sound being played, minimized icon in taskbar, setting up specific rules, opening custom programs and many more. If you're lazy like me, get this useful tool
DESCRIPTION:
An easy to use and popular email notifier that runs from your system tray and alerts you when new email arrives.
I tried this one after poptray and I have to say this is just what I want. It is smaller and probably easier to configure. Which ever you choose, you can't go wrong with these email notifiers
DESCRIPTION:
So you don't like the way that your email program converts your address book to another format, this is your answer. A great email address converter and manager, it lets you edit the data before you save it and supports a large range of email programs. It's easy to use and I think all pc users will benefit from using it
DESCRIPTION:
An ultra light weight email program that allows you to receive and send mail messages on POP3 servers, without actually downloading the e-mails to a computer, unless you tell it to. It can fit on a floppy disk or USB drive and it supports multiple user accounts. Used mainly for when you're travelling and reading mail over slow connections. It also provides basic virus protection. The user profiles and account information is NOT saved in the local registry, but in a small, portable .INI-file that accompanies the application, enabling you to easily move between locations.
No longer developed but is still useful to many users. NOTE: Last Freeware version
An effective spam filter and message classifier for Outlook mainly, but should also work on POP3 and IMAP clients.
It works out what is spam and what is not by using a bayesian filtering method.
The mail then gets put into a number of different folders depending on how it's configured. As you receive more mail it works out more effectively what is spam and what is not. A must have for all pc users. NOTE: Does not work with OUTLOOK EXPRESS
